Not Guilty of Domestic Battery

In late 2006, G was was in the midst of a heated custody battle with the Mother of his 2 year old child.  During this battle, the mother was picking up the child after a scheduled visit with G.  During the pickup, the Mother called the police and alleged that she was battered by G, an attorney and an officer in the military.

G hired Attorney Michael J. Petro to represent him at trial.

On March 5, 2007 a trial was held in Lake County on G's  case.  At the extremely contested trial, Attorney Michael J. Petro convinced the court that G was not guilty of the alleged battery.  The result, G was acquitted of that charge.
